The Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation
The Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is the charitable arm of Wilmington Women in Business, Inc. (WWB).
We award college scholarships to women returning to college based on need, academic record and potential for success. We provide mentoring support to our scholars through professional women in the community.
Is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization
Has no paid staff; we are all volunteers
Provides one-on-one mentoring for our scholars
Has awarded over $830,000 in scholarships to 186 deserving women attending Delaware institutions of higher learning
Has achieved a 70% graduation rate which is exceptionally high for the non-traditional student population
Has magnified our impact by the example our scholars set for their families
Designates 97 cents of every dollar to our scholarship program
