The Edwards Scholarship Fund
Grace M. Edwards was well-known for her philanthropic activities. She was particularly interested in education as a means of promoting maturity, intelligence, and good citizenship. Her educational fund is restricted to residents of the City of Boston, Massachusetts. The City has benefitted from her generosity over the decades since 1939.

Scholarship Eligibility and Conditions
Basic Requirements of the Scholarship
•continuing legal residency in Boston rom beginning of the junior year in high school
•high school diploma or GED prior to the start of first semester in college
•minimum of 2.0 GPA (on a 4-point scale) or the equivalent on another scaling system
•financial need
•commitment to community service
The Trustees reserve the right to withdraw a Scholarship at any time.
Recipients are asked to contribute to the Fund when their incomes allow in order to extend the legacy of Grace Edwards.
