The LI2DAY Scholarship, supported by the LI2Day Walk, was established to recognize the profound effect of breast cancer/other women’s cancer have on a family. Nearly $200,000 in scholarships has been awarded since 2004. The LI2Day Scholarship is designed to provide a one-time award of $2,500 to a high school senior who resides with a parent or guardian who is a survivor of breast cancer and/or other women’s cancer or resided with a parent or guardian who has passed from breast cancer and/or other women’s cancer.
This is a $2,000 scholarship that will be awarded to 3 graduating seniors in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The student must reside or have resided with a parent or guardian who is a survivor of any cancer other than breast cancer and/or other women’s cancers or have resided with a parent or guardian who has passed from any cancer other than breast cancer and/or other women’s cancers. $6,000 has been earmarked for three (3) scholarships.
The application and all accompanying materials must be submitted
together in a single package. No incomplete applications will be
considered.
